Systems Architect Automotive (m/f/d)

Wetzlar PRDC Office
Full-time
Permanent employee

Your mission

  • Technical responsibility for advanced amplifiers and sound systems for car manufacturers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (hardware, software, acoustic, testing) to understand project goals and define comprehensive audio system architectures.
  • Elicit, analyze, document, and manage both functional and non-functional requirements for complex audio systems, ensuring clarity, completeness, and testability.
  • Contribute to the creation and review of system design drawings, block diagrams, and interface specifications
  • Perform detailed Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) for audio system components and the overall system, identifying potential failure points and their impact.
  • Propose and implement improvements to existing requirements and designs based on FMEA findings, test results, and evolving system needs.
  • Define and suggest additional test cases and validation strategies to ensure thorough coverage of functional, non-functional, and robustness aspects of the audio system.
  • Provide technical guidance and support throughout the product development lifecycle, from concept to production.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot system-level issues related to audio performance, power management, and communication.
  • Support system integration.
  • Communication with suppliers and customers.
  • Create estimates and targets for CPU load and memory usage.
